Scientist II
Mirna Therapeutics is seeking an energetic Scientist with a strong background in cellular and molecular biology to identify and develop therapeutic miRNAs using in vitro and in vivo model systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tissue culture with primary cells and cancer cell lines. Essential techniques include DNA/siRNA transfections, constructing stable cell lines, microscopy and implementation of fluorescence, luminescence and other cellular screens. Previous work with animal cancer models is a plus. The successful candidate will be expected to work well in a team environment with minor supervision.

- Supports co-workers by providing training on equipment and procedures and assisting with data analysis and interpretation
- Plans, organizes, and supervises workflow of co-workers as needed.
- Compliant with all laws and regulations associated with developing and manufacturing FDA-regulated products
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
- B. S. or B. A. in biological or related field from a four-year college or university and 4-8 years of post-undergraduate experience; or
- M.S with 2-5 years of post-undergraduate education and laboratory experience; or
- PhD with 0-2 years experience.
