Paul Lammers

Paul Lammers, M.D., M.S.

President & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Paul Lammers is President and CEO of Mirna Therapeutics. Prior to joining Mirna Therapeutics, Dr. Lammers was most recently president of Repros Therapeutics. Dr. Lammers served for 6 years as the Chief Medical Officer for EMD Serono Inc. and began his career with Organon spending 8 years in the commercial and clinical operations in Europe and the US. He also served 4 years as Senior Vice President of clinical and regulatory affairs at Zonagen. Dr. Lammers obtained his Medical Degree and Masters of Science degree from the Catholic University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and moved with his family to the US in 1992.




Ana Ward

Ana Ward, Esq., M.S., M.B.A

Senior Vice President & General Counsel

Ms. Ward is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Asuragen and Mirna Therapeutics. Prior to Asuragen, she was General Counsel for Ambion and was responsible for a wide variety of legal issues including licensing, corporate transactions, patents, and trademarks. Prior to joining Ambion, Ms. Ward served as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel for Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., and as an associate at the law firm Sidley and Austin. She has a BA in French/Zoology, a Masters in Molecular Biology, a Doctor of Jurisprudence, and a Masters of Business Administration, all from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Ward is also a registered patent attorney, and served as an adjunct professor at the UT School of Law.



Lynne Hohlfeld

Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary

Ms. Hohlfeld is Chief Financial Officer and Secretary for Asuragen and Mirna Therapeutics. Ms. Hohlfeld has extensive experience in financial management of life science companies and joined Asuragen in March 2009. From April 2006 to March 2009, Ms. Hohlfeld served as Chief Financial Officer of Opexa Therapeutics (Nasdaq: OPXA), a company developing novel cell therapies for autoimmune diseases. From September 2004 until April 2006, she was vice president and chief financial officer of Denota Ventures. From August 2000 until March 2004 she was senior vice president, chief operating and financial officer of Bacterial Barcodes, Inc., a Houston-based molecular diagnostics company spun out of the Baylor College of Medicine. She was also senior vice president and chief financial officer of Spectral Genomics of Houston upon its merger with Bacterial Barcodes in March 2004. Ms. Hohlfeld was also employed by LifeCell Corporation from 1997 to 1999, serving as controller. Ms. Hohlfeld’s career includes positions at Dixie Chemical Company, Price WaterhouseCoopers, McKenna and Company, and Arthur Andersen. Ms. Hohlfeld received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and is a certified public accountant.
